The EU imposes sanctions against 87 individuals on the ACF 6,000 list

December 17, 2022

On Friday, December 16, the European Union published the ninth package of sanctions against Russia. Among other restrictions, it includes new personal sanctions against warmongers: 142 more people have been targeted. More than half of them, namely 87 individuals, also feature on the ACF 6,000 List we have compiled.

We are especially happy that among the fresh additions to the list there are heroes of our investigations. Tatyana Golikova will never be able to visit her golf club in Spain again. Dmitry Sablin will never again set sail for the Greek seaside on his yacht. Valentina Tereshkova will not be visiting her daughter in Italy anymore.

In total, more than 800 of Putin’s friends and warmongers from our list have already been placed under EU sanctions. They have been banned from entering EU countries and their assets have been frozen. We will continue to push for as many of the members of our 6,000 List as possible to be sanctioned. If you live in Europe, you can help our cause by writing a letter to a member of the European Parliament — you can find out how to do this here.
