The family of Russian Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova owns a private jet, golf clubs, and luxury villas in Spain, Portugal, and France. By our most conservative estimates, these assets are worth 50 billion rubles. At least part of it was earned on vaccination of Russians, a sphere Golikova has been in charge of for the past fifteen years. This is the subject of a new investigation by the Anti-Corruption Foundation.
In 2017, Golikova's husband, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Industry and Trade Viktor Khristenko, bought a golf club in San Roque in southern Spain. The business came with a 1,200 m2 villa. That property and several other Russian golf clubs are managed by the company Golfstate, which belongs to Khristenko. It is now constructing five more villas in Spain.
In 2019, Khristenko invested €51 million to renovate the five-star La Voile d'Or hotel and its accompanying Villa Ave Maria in the south of France. He also owns the Spanish residential complex El Mirador, which consists of six houses costing from 9 to 18 million euros. And his son, Vladimir Khristenko, owns a 1100 m2 villa on the Atlantic coast in Portugal. The house is worth at least 1.2 million euros. A few kilometers away from that villa, Khristenko's family has another one with an area of about 800 m2 and a value of 3.5 million Euros.
Khristenko Jr. owns Nanolek, a company that produces vaccines included in the Russian national vaccination calendar. It is compiled by the Ministry of Health, which is controlled by Golikova. Khristenko also has a stake in Genrium, the largest producer of the Sputnik-V COVID-19 vaccine.
In 2017, Vladimir Khristenko and his wife obtained Cyprus citizenship. To do so, they invested at least 2 million euros in the country's economy. Golikova's granddaughter writes explicitly on social networks that she lives in Spain. Even now, after seven months of war in Ukraine, Tatiana Golikova can safely visit them in Europe, since neither she nor her family members are under EU sanctions yet.
Golikova has worked in the Russian government for a total of 22 years. For the past fifteen years she has been responsible for the health and well-being of Russians, their incomes, pensions, and retirement. She is responsible for the pauperized Russian elderly and the thousands of people who have died due to lack of medical treatment. Now she is also responsible for the war in Ukraine, because all these years she has been part of Putin's corrupt system and helped consolidate his power.
Golikova herself and her entire family should be sanctioned and stripped of their multi-billion dollar assets so that they can no longer do business in the West and vacation there on money stolen from Russians.
