As part of updating our sanctions lists, we continue to work on the "Executives of State-Owned Companies" category. Volunteers from the Navalny Headquarters helped us cross-check several more corporations; we also added the top management of Rosatom to the list. This company not only promotes Russia's strategic interests on the international stage, but is also closely linked to the defense industry. In addition, Rosatom is directly involved in the occupation of the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant, which created the risk of a man-made disaster in 2022.
The category "Employees of the Executive Branch of the Government and the Presidential Administration" was significantly expanded to include the directors of various departments of the Executive Office of the Government of the Russian Federation. Each of them makes daily efforts to ensure that Putin can continue his military invasion of Ukraine. We also added the subjects of the two anti-corruption investigations we released this week to the list. As usual, we've also made some pinpoint edits to keep the list up-to-date.
If you spot any inaccuracies in the ACF 6,000 List or believe that someone is included on it (or omitted from it) by mistake, feel free to email us at [email protected]. You can view all the edits and additions here, and you can use the Sanctions Tracker to search through all the people on the list.
