Expansion of the ACF sanctions list

August 26, 2022

This week we have significantly updated the list of those involved in corruption in the broadest sense: from classic schemes of paying officials for specific decisions to the trading of political influence. This addition was based on materials from Russia's best-known investigative organizations: The Insider, Proekt Media, and IStories. We have selected the heroes of the investigations with sufficient data on them for inclusion in the sanctions lists.

We are convinced that it is the total corruption that entangles the Russian state (and to a large extent lies at its core) that made the criminal war against the neighboring state possible. Sanctions in the current situation should not only strike a blow to this cancerous tumor within Russia, but also stop the export of corruption to those countries that are now aiding Ukraine and serving as a target for Putin's agents of influence.

In addition, we've fixed a few unfortunate gaps in our lists, and added a small portion of bloodthirsty supporters of Putin.

You can view all the changes here. Feel free to send suggestions for further expansion of the lists with links to relevant materials and publications to [email protected] - we consider all the letters we receive.
