ACF investigation: Yevgeny Prigozhin owns assets worth trillions of rubles

July 07, 2023

Relatives of Yevgeny Prigozhin, the founder of the Wagner PMC, own a mansion in Italy worth €3.5 million. The value of Prigozhin's own assets that could be identified through public sources amounts to at least 2 trillion rubles (€20 billion). All of this was revealed in the latest investigation by the Anti-Corruption Foundation.

Prigozhin's son Pavel is married to Ekaterina Inkina, the daughter of St. Petersburg restaurateur Sergey Inkina. In 2017, he bought a mansion of almost 400 m² in the town of Forte dei Marmi. His neighbors include Russian oligarchs Roman Abramovich and Oleg Deripaska, and another villa in this town used to be owned by the then Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Khloponin.

Despite all this, some of Prigozhin's closest relatives have still not been placed under EU sanctions. Even after the outbreak of a full-scale war in Ukraine, his two daughters continue to travel around Europe. They are engaged in equestrian sports and constantly participate in competitions in Portugal, Spain, France, Italy and other countries. One of the daughters indicated on her Facebook page that she lives in Hannover, Germany. Since none of them have condemned the war and the crimes of Prigozhin himself, we are convinced that they should be put on every possible sanctions list as soon as possible.
