In March, we announced that we would prepare and continuously update special lists for the US, EU, and UK - lists of warmongers that should be sanctioned on a priority basis. This week we are publishing such a list for the UK. As sanctions are gradually imposed on these people, we will update the list and replace them with others who are not yet subject to restrictions in that jurisdiction.
We have also added representatives of major Russian businesses who participated in a meeting with Vladimir Putin on March 16, 2023, to the ACF 6,000 List. We consider their presence at such a meeting to constitute public support for the current political regime and the war of aggression it has unleashed.
We also decided to remove the top managers of the French satellite operator Eutelsat from our lists. Eva Bernecke and Dominique D'Hinnin were added to the ACF 6,000 List in late 2022 because the company they head was broadcasting Russian propaganda through its satellites. As we wrote in our February 24 update, Eutelsat contacted us and notified us of the suspension of the broadcasts, providing evidence. In this regard, we believe that our goal has been achieved and we no longer see any reason to keep these people on the ACF 6,000 List. This decision is consistent with our general approach to foreign nationals in top management positions - we have always required them to cease their activities supporting the Putin regime in order to be removed from the list.
